Allen and York proudly sponsored the Best Consultancy to Work For Award at the EDIE Awards for Environmental Excellence 2007, and the winner was..Atkins.

The awards were launched on Tuesday 23rd October 2007, at London's Natural History Museum and were voted on by environmental professionals across the industry. The event was the first to recognise and reward the consultancy expertise that guides the most significant environmental policies and actions in the UK and beyond.

Until now, there have been limited opportunities to sing the praises of the important work which is helping to shape the future of our planet for the better, and consequently Allen and York were delighted to be part of this launch.

The UK environment industry employs some 400,000 people, with an annual turnover of 25bn. Environmental consultancy is by far the largest employer and most influential sector of this industry.

Allen and York have been recruiting Environmental specialists since 1993 and are recognized as market leaders in the provision of high quality professional staff in this increasingly important area.
